Stockbridge is the north end of Henry County and the closest part of our corridor to Atlanta — I-675 puts it inside the perimeter traffic in twenty minutes, which is why its rental demand behaves differently from McDonough fifteen miles south. The housing is a generation older than Locust Grove and priced accordingly, and the split-levels in particular are cheap to buy and expensive to rehab badly.
1980s and 1990s subdivision houses, heavy on split-levels and traditional two-storeys, on larger lots than anything built in the county since.
