About the company
22 years in the same corridor.
We have bought through one housing crash and one boom, and we still own houses we bought before either.
What we actually do
Buy the house nobody wants. Keep it once it is worth wanting.
We buy single-family homes that are worth less than they should be — usually because of condition, a tired landlord, or a situation the seller wants out from under. We renovate them, and then we keep most of them.
Keeping them is the part that shapes everything upstream. A company that flips has no reason to care about the roof in year eight. We do, because we are the ones who will pay for it. So the money goes into systems — roofs, HVAC, insulation, plumbing — before it goes anywhere you would photograph.
Alongside the rental portfolio we renovate for resale, sell on terms where that suits a buyer better, and lend short-term capital to other investors working the same market. Different instruments, one set of judgments about what a house in Griffin or McDonough is really worth.
Twenty-two years
The short version of a long history.
2004
Organized
Bridging Interests is formed as a Georgia LLC and buys its first single-family homes south of Atlanta.
2007
Expansion
The portfolio nearly triples in a single year, concentrated in Griffin and McDonough.
2008–2014
The downturn
We hold through the crash. Nothing gets handed back. The houses bought in this stretch are still in the portfolio.
2015–2022
Partners and scale
The partnership restructures twice and adds capital, while the operating model stays the same: buy, renovate properly, keep.
2026
Today
Thirty-odd homes across eight communities, plus renovation for resale, seller financing, and private lending to other investors.
How we are set up
Small on purpose.
Bridging Interests is a Georgia limited liability company, privately held by its partners, with no outside fund and no investment committee. Decisions get made by the people whose money is in the deal — which is why we can commit to a closing date and keep it.
One corridor. A contractor bench we have used for years. A portfolio we can keep our arms around. None of that is an accident.
